With this boom, food courts came into the scene. Amid the pop-up restaurant phenomenon, food courts offering a variety of options and specialty menus became particularly popular.
New options keep coming. Just a few days ago, “Downtown Food Court and Bar” opened on the famous and iconic Avenida Revolucion, hosted by 6 restaurants and 3 bars, one of them specializing in mezcal and the other in craft beer.
Inspired by the “New York, New York Hotel & Casino” food court in Las Vegas, this project took 3 years and a pandemic to make it into a reality; commented the creators.
The challenge, they said, was finding a way to make it totally different from the rest of the food courts already positioned in the city. Live music and a big screen for sports and special events, was a PLUS to round up the customers' experience at the venue.
Walking into “Downtown Food Court and Bar”, you’ll first notice the lighting and innovative decor of the place. Don’t be shy and try all the food and drink options. You must come visit!
