Mirador de Altar Trail

These trails are located within this beautiful natural reserve of the San Pedro Mártir National Park that covers approximately 63,000 hectares of surface.

The area includes its wooded region, which is one of the few green areas of the Baja California peninsula where conifers are abundant, as well as plants, trees, birds and mammals typical of the place. In this place, the thermometer fluctuates between 5°C and 10°C in summer, and drops to 20°C below zero in winter.

In winter, rains are frequent and sometimes there are snowfalls and snowstorms. During the rest of the year the nights are generally cold.
