Los Algodones

The sand dunes await on your way to Mexicali. Walking over its surface, feeling the wind or riding a dune buggy, exploring the terrain on a 4 wheeler is satisfying freeing experience.

Just 2 km east of Los Algodones, on the San Luis Río Colorado road, you’ll find Presa Morelos, which 40 meter high gates serve as a viewpoint of Río Colorado and surrounding valleys. It’s a panorama you can’t miss!

These last few years, Sandboarding has become one the most popular sports in Baja California; the Mexicali sand dunes are the main reason for this, providing perfect conditions to practice this sport on another level.

This spot holds national and International Tournaments each year.

San Felipe

The San Felipe sand dunes are famous for their white sand formed over time. The surroundings provide optimal conditions for the perfect outdoor adventure. Near the dunes you'll find perfect mountain climbing and biking areas.

On the way to San Felipe from Mexicali you’ll see Dunas de las Pintas. They’ve been a stage to films and documentaries.

Many visitors enjoy riding 4-wheelers and the adrenaline rush of an off-road race, or glidding down the hills on sandboards.

Playas de Rosarito

In the community known as Primo Tapia you’ll find the Cantamar Dunes, also known as Los Arenales sand dunes. The dunes are located by the ocean, offering the perfect Sandboarding conditions with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean.
