Surf at Playas de Rosarito

Playas de Rosarito is known as “The Cradle of Surfing in Baja California”, attracting surfers from all over Mexico and the neighboring state of California. With waves available 365 days a year, Rosarito has positioned itself as a favorite destination for surf lovers. This place has several ideal spots for both beginners and advanced surfers.

Among the main sites are Baja Malibu, Raul's km.42, Calafia, El Morro Km.38, and many others. At these points, strong waves, changing currents and rock formations challenge even the most experienced surfers.

If you are a beginner or intermediate, we recommend practicing at the Rosarito Pier or at Raúl's Camp Surf, where the waves are ideal for all levels. In addition, you can learn from experts by taking classes at the Local Surf School, designed to teach children and adults.
