La Lobera, A Spectacular Sea Lion Crater
Located about 25 miles of San Quintin, this natural attraction is a large crater on the southern seashore and a sanctuary for sea lions. The crater's exterior is about 98-feet in diameter, with an interior diameter of about 197 feet, and a depth of about 50 feet.
You can easily appreciate the sea lions from the top of the crater and meditate to the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocky shoreline at this magnificent trench. To reach this spot a 4x4 vehicle is recommended, you can also contact local tour guides to maximize your experience.

La Ostionera, a restaurant on the bay
One of the main commercial activities in San Quintin is its seafood industry. La Ostionera is a bar that sources the largest oyster farm in the region, thanks to its rich resources. The eatery is located right on the bay in False Bay, Ensenada.
The production process takes months, and when they are ready, the oysters are distributed in large quantities throughout the state and are exported nationally and internationally.

Wetlands at San Quintin Bay
The wetlands at San Quintin Bay provide a breeding habitat to more than 400 species, including many types of birds, such as the Canada goose. The ecosystem extends across a large geographic area and comprises a lagoon compound for its conservation.
Visitors can observe local and migratory birds passing through the area. These wetlands become home to thousands of Brent geese from Alaska and Canada during the winter months.

Museo Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo, San Quintin’s local museum
This museum is dedicated to the protection and dissemination of the paleontological, archaeological, and historical heritage of the San Quintin area. Here you can explore the natural history of San Quintin and its collection of 559 archeological pieces, including some vestiges and fossils that are more then 65 million years old.
The museum is exhibiting the reconstruction of the Dominican missions “Misión de Nuestra Señora del Rosario” (1773) and “Misión de Santo Domingo de la Frontera” (1775).
