"El Ciempiés" The Trail To Explore In Mexicali.
Some of the most notable features of Baja California are their safely regulated hiking trails that make it an ideal destination to practice this outdoor activity. One of them is the breathtaking “El Ciempiés” route of Mexicali.

In addition to being credited as a notorious viticulture and culinary destination, Baja California has gradually distinguished itself as one of the finest sites for hiking, given that it is home to 12 of the 14 sanctioned trails that exist in the country.
A few weeks ago, the SP-CMP-14 El Ciempiés Trail was formally and officially blazed, thus becoming the 14th certified hiking trail in Mexico.
Presently, the trail can be explored by hikers and civilians alike who are in search of new scenes to get back in touch with nature in a responsible manner. During the circuit hikers will additionally be able to witness spectacular views of Cerro El Centinela, Laguna Salada and the Sierra de Juárez.
